人口減少によって国内需要の縮小が懸念される中、海外市場の開拓とインバウンド需要の取り込みが求められており、今後はますます「グローバル・エリート」の活躍が期待されます。昨12月にマレーシアに移住した私が、半年間の体験も示しながら、教育制度の課題、これからの「グローバルエリート」の在り方、育成法について多方面から考えた本セミナーには、20名程度の方々が川崎市だけでなく遠方からも駆けつけて下さり、とても賑やかなイベントとなりました。コミュニティ向けイベント「おとなの寺子屋」主宰で行われ、いつも通り我らが「スーパー大家」の木村さんの全面協力により、セミナー後は駄菓子の木村屋パブリックスペースにてBBQ（と、もちろん酒盛り）。懐かしい顔たちと旧交を温めました！ なんと今回のイベントは、正式に外務省の日本大使館（在マレーシア・クアラルンプール）から協賛（協賛イベントページはここ）を貰っていたのですが、そのお眼鏡にかなうものだったかどうか…は、恐らく参加された方々の今後の行動にかかっているかと思います。こうご期待！ また、今回は「おとてら」期待の若人たち、あきはくん、りゅーどーくん、ななちゃんが、揃って8月以降に海外留学することが正式決定したとの報告を皆の前で行ってくれました！しかもその中で「フル奨学金」まで獲得したという快挙！！このような、海外へ飛び出していける勇敢で知力のある若者を、自分の周りからどんどん輩出したいと思いつつこの活動を5年続けてきた「寺主」の私としては、この驚くべきアウトカムは大変嬉しかったです。

The picture of the event I attended the other day as a panelist (the name was a bit overstated in nature, I feel).
